Define Intent

• You act with intent if:
1. If you act with purpose: you have in mind a purpose (or a desire) to bring about a given consequence (specific intent) or 2. Act with knowledge: have in mind a belief (or knowledge)that given consequences are substantially certain (highly like) to be produced (general intent) |

1. He engages in conduct that is extreme and outrageous with the intent to cause severe emotion distress and 2. Plaintiff in fact suffers severe emotional distress |
