A computer that is designed and built into an application where it performs a limited range of dedicated functions. |

What is a processor? |
A processor is built into a microchip that has memory and other components built into it. |

What does a processor do? |
A processor accepts data, and processes it under a stored computer program, and it is turned into output. |

How are computer programs processed? |
It is loaded into the RAM and the program instructions is then sent to the processor one at a time and the processor carries out instructions. |

The Front Side Bus (FSB) is the bus that carries data between the processor and memory. |
