Explain why Resistivity is measured in Ohm-Meters
|
The forumla for resistivity is P=RA/L. R is measured in Ohms and A is measured in Meters squared. L is measured in Meters. So, Because you have (Ohms x meters sq) / (meters), the meters on the bottom cancel out the meters squared on top to leave meters and ohms. therefore resitivity is measured in ohm meters.
