What is an advantage and disadvantage of the CNS? |
-Advantage: Central information processing makes use of common processing elements and avoids duplications of functions in different structures. -Disadvantage: Damage (caused by things like trauma) can affect many functions. |
|
What is natural selection and who contributed to it? |
- Structural and functionalcharacteristics that allow an organism to reproduce more successfully arepassed on to offspring. -Variance in structure and function is required to make this possible. Genetic mutation provides variance. -Charles Darwin and Alfred Russell Wallace both independently came up with evolution. |
