What is Acting? |
portraying someone or something else in order to tell a story. |

Is becoming your character necessary? |
No. There is not a need for the actor to live the life of the character or become the character. |

What is Performance? |
m anything we do in order to convey any meaning. |
when you go to work, you have one role to play. That role likely even has a "costume" associated with it. If you wear a uniform, bingo! Most of us, can't/don't dress the same way for work as we do for our lives outside of work--so, a costume. |
